Give the Gift of Time

Volunteers are an essential part of our organization! We have positions for dedicated folks who want to assist with the following: Events and community education services, client services such as support group and children’s activities, coordination of volunteer services, fundraising and planning committees, technology, marketing, and social networking. Folks often call us and ask what we can use at Claudia House or what our guests can use.  Right now we have specific need for the following items:


• Ethnic hair care and personal care products

• Sensitive skin and hypoallergenic personal care and hair products

• Personal care and hair products

• Paper products such as toilet paper, paper towels, disinfecting wipes, diapers, facial tissue and the like

• Kitchen size trash bags and contractor bags

• Cleaning supplies like dishwasher detergent, dish soap, etc.

• Nonperishable food items that are not expired

• New pillows and twin sheet sets

• Gift cards for Giant, Kennie’s, Walmart and Sheetz


We do ask that all items be new and unopened.

Are you in the Gettysburg area, have a valid driver’s license and have legal, safe and reliable transportation? Are you able to work a flexible schedule (including on-call expectations)? Then a position at Survivors, Inc. might be what you are looking for! We are looking for folks that have a true passion for client focused and centered service and a clean child line clearance/background check to provide domestic violence and sexual assault services to those impacted in the Adams County area. A bachelor’s degree in human services, previous social service/case management experience and English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred/strongly recommended.
